Who We Are
Merit Professional Investigations is a Georgia-based private investigation agency built on precision, collaboration, and results. We are a collaborative team of experienced professionals and affiliates with backgrounds in law enforcement, military service, and the legal field. Each case is approached strategically and matched with the right expertise to ensure an efficient, thorough, and court-ready presentation.

Our firm was founded by Dedrea L. Fazzio, who is a graduate of the Kennesaw State University Paralegal Program and has worked as a licensed Private Investigator and Process Server since 2017. She brings a sharp legal foundation, strategic mindset, and relentless attention to detail to every investigation. Her favorite part of the work is building and executing investigative strategies that are aggressive yet precise, producing evidence that is airtight and ready to stand up in court.
What We Do
Our team specializes in complex and sensitive investigations that require discretion, persistence, and advanced tools. Our services include process serving with a focus on hard-to-locate and evading individuals, skip tracing, background checks, child custody investigations, infidelity investigations, insurance fraud investigations, employee integrity cases, stalking and harassment investigations, and wellness checks for adults and teens.
We also provide social media investigations, e-filing support, GPS tracking where legally permitted, covert surveillance using specialized cameras and unmanned surveillance vehicles, special covert operations, counterfeit retail fraud investigations, pre-marital integrity investigations, and Georgia genealogical research.
